I recently made this delicious Vegan Plant Based Sausage With Toppings. The sausage was lightly cooked in olive oil using a cast iron frying pan that you can pick up on my Shop Page. It was served on a tasty gluten free bun, with toppings like chopped white onion, diced pepperoncini, and chopped tomatoes. Lastly, I topped the sausage with a tasty yellow mustard. This lunch had a very flavorful kick to it.

Vegan Plant Based Sausage with Topping
Plant based sausage links, (Beyond meat or a plant based sausage, as desired)
4 -6 plant based rolls
2 Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 Medium white onion, finely chopped
1/2 Cup of Pepperoncini, finely chopped
1 Teaspoon of Italian seasoning
-Chop the onion, tomatoes and pepperoncini and add to a medium bowl, mix in the Italian seasoning then set aside.
-Cook the plant based sausage in a skillet as directed on packaging. You can also grill until toasty for about 5 minutes then remove from heat and set aside.
-Then open buns and place the beyond meat sausage in the buns then add the onion and tomato mixture. Then squirt yellow mustard along the top of the plant based sausage. You can also serve with salad or soup. Enjoy!
