My Vegan Cinnamon Bars with Plant Based Orange Cream Cheese Frosting is a great dessert to serve during the holiday season. The bars are moist and delicious, and they were topped with a tasty vegan cream cheese frosting.
Vegan Cinnamon Bars with Plant Based Orange Cream cheese Frosting
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of wheat flour
1 cup of organic sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of Himalayan salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of olive oil
Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 350F, then grease a 9 inch pan or you can use parchment paper, then set aside.
-In a large bowl, add the flour, organic sugar, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, baking soda and Himalayan salt. Whisk to combine. Pour in the unsweetened almond milk, oil and vanilla extract. Combine Ingredients.
-Add the batter into a 9 inch pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
-Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
-Once the cake is cooled, spread your favorite cream cheese frosting. I prepared a vegan orange cream cheese frosting. Slice into squares and enjoy!
