My Vegan Chocolate Caramel S’mores Bars are chocolate-ty and delicious. The ingredients include vegan marshmallows, crushed graham crackers, non dairy chocolate chips, and coconut sugar to name a few.
Vegan Chocolate Caramel S’mores Bars
Crust:
Ingredients:
3/4 Cup of coconut sugar
2 Tablespoons of almond milk
1/2 Cup of vegan butter, melted
1 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cup of gluten-free all purpose flour
1 Teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 Cup of graham cracker crumbs
1/2 Teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon of Himalayan salt
Chocolate Layer:
1 Cup of vegan mini marshmallows
2-3 Tablespoons of nondairy mini chocolate chips
1/3 Cup of graham cracker crumbs
1 Cup of nondairy chocolate Carmel chips
Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 375F degrees then line a 8 by 8 inch pan with parchment paper.
-Melt the vegan butter in a sauce pan for a few minutes. Then add the coconut sugar, almond milk and vanilla extract to a medium size bowl. Whisk together until smooth, then set aside.
-In a separate bowl combine the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder, nutmeg and Himalayan salt. Combine ingredients then add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. Press the dough into the bottom of the baking pan with parchment paper. Smooth across the bottom of the pan. Top with nondairy chocolate caramel chips, vegan mini marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs and mini chocolate chips.
-Bake the bars for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and cool for 20 minutes. Slice into 9 slices and enjoy!
