Spaghetti & Plant Based Meatballs is a delicious and flavorful dinner that’s made with brown rice pasta, plant based meat, and a tasty blend of spices. It’s a great fall food.
Spaghetti and Plant Based Meatballs
1 Package of plant based ground Beyond Meat
2/3 Cup of onion, chopped
1 Cup of basil, chopped
1 Tablespoon of Italian seasoning
1/4 Teaspoon of Himalayan salt
1/4 Teaspoon of black pepper
1 25 oz. Jar of marinara sauce
1 14.5 oz. Can of chopped tomatoes
1/4 Cup of golden round crackers, crunched into crumbs
12 oz. Box brown rice spaghetti, Jovial
-Cook spaghetti according to packaging directions.
-Preheat the oven to 400F. Combine the ingredients in a large bowl. Then roll the plant based meatballs about 1 1/2 tablespoons measuring with a cookie scoop or you can use a tablespoon to create the balls.
-Place plant based meatballs on a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven. Add marinara sauce to skillet over medium heat along with chopped tomatoes. -Add plant based meatballs to simmer for 10 minutes, or as desired then add spaghetti. -Combine and serve with vegan Parmesan cheese and crusty bread. Enjoy!
