Sheet Pan Grilled Cheese Pizza Sandwich

This is a Sheet Pan Grilled Cheese Pizza Sandwich.  You can make it using gluten free bread, vegan cheese, plant based pepperoni and a tasty pizza sauce.

 


 

Sheet Pan Grilled Cheese Pizza Sandwich

Ingredients:
6 Slices of bread
8 Teaspoons of vegan butter
6 Slices of vegan cheese
1/2 Cup of pizza sauce
12 to 18 Slices of plant based pepperoni, (or as desired)
1/2 Cup of vegan cheese shreds
Fresh basil to garnish, (optional)

Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 400F.
-Use 1 teaspoon vegan butter for each slice of bread. Then place 6 slices of butter side down, on the sheet pan and top with cheese slices. Place the remaining slices of bread on top, butter side up.
-Bake 10-12 minutes, until bottom is golden and cheese is starting to melt the inside. Remove from the oven and flip the sandwiches.
-Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce onto the top of each sandwich. Add 2 tablespoons of vegan cheese shreds to each sandwich, or as desired then add plant based pepperoni. Bake another 10 minutes or until top cheese is melted and the bottom is golden. Remove from oven and cool for a few and enjoy!
