Salsa is always a favorite snack for me because it’s healthy and it’s so full of flavor. My Salsa is easy to make, it tastes great, and you can serve it at a cookout or family gathering.
Quick and Easy Salsa
Ingredients:
2 15 oz. Cans of fire roasted tomatoes or fresh tomatoes, chopped about 4 cups
1/2 Cup of red onion, chopped
1 Clove of garlic, minced
1 medium jalapeño, chopped (remove the membrane and seeds.
1/4 Cup of fresh basil, chopped
1 to 2 limes, according to your taste
1/2 Teaspoon of Himalayan salt, according to your taste
Directions:
-Add fire roasted tomatoes into a colander set over a large bowl to drain. Save the drained juice to add to the salsa if it’s too thick.
-Add the drained fire roasted tomatoes, red onions, peppers, basil, Himalayan salt, the juice of half of a lime. Pulse to your desired consistency. Add additional seasoning and lime juice according to your taste. Enjoy!
