Plant Based Buffalo Chick’n Pizza is made with plant based buffalo wings, vegan cheese, onion, tomatoes and a pizza crust made from chickpeas.
1 – 2 9 in. Banza Chickpea pizza crust
14.7 oz. plant based nuggets
2 Teaspoons of olive oil
2 Tablespoons of fresh basil, chopped
3/4 Cup of buffalo sauce, (prepare a Buffalo sauce of your choice)
1/4 Red onion, sliced
I/2 Cup of vegan shredded cheese
I/2 Cup of cherry tomatoes, sliced
Vegan Ranch Dressing:
1/2 Cup of vegan mayonnaise
1.5 Tablespoons of unsweetened almond milk
1/2 Teaspoon of lemon juice
1 Tablespoon of Italian seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon of smoked paprika
1/4 Teaspoon of onion powder
Himalayan salt and pepper, (optional)
-In a small bowl add dressing ingredients whisk until smooth. Set aside.
-Preheat the oven to 450F, then on a baking sheet with parchment paper add the plant based nuggets and bake accordingly to directions on packaging.
-Remove nuggets from the oven then add to a medium size bowl. Pour buffalo sauce over nuggets and toss until they are covered in sauce. Spread evenly on a baking sheet again and cook for 20 minutes flipping halfway. Then remove from the oven, cool a little and slice smaller to place on pizza. Set aside.
-Preheat the oven to 400F, then add the chickpea pizza crusts to a baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush the pizza crust with olive oil then top with chopped basil, vegan shredded cheese, sliced red onion, sliced cherry tomatoes and sliced buffalo plant based nuggets.
-Bake according to directions on packaging.
-Remove from the oven and top with vegan ranch dressing and fresh basil. Slice and enjoy!
