Onion and Chive Trail Mix

My Onion and Chive Trail Mix is a healthy snack that’s bursting with flavor.  It’s made from Rice Chex, gluten free pretzels and pumpkin seeds.  It’s a great snack that’s quick and easy to make.

 


 

Onion and Chive Trail Mix

Ingredients:
3 cups of salted gluten free mini pretzels
2 cups of gluten-free cheddar flavored squares
2 cups of gluten free Rice Chex Cereal
1/2 cup of pistachios
6 tablespoons of vegan butter, melted
1 7 oz packet of onion and chive seasoning, dry powder(salad dressing), you can add more
    according to taste
1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/4 Cup of vegan Parmesan cheese, optional
Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 300F degrees.
-In a large bowl add the pretzels, pumpkin seeds, cheddar squares and Rice Chex cereal to the bowl. In a small saucepan melt the vegan butter, then pour vegan butter over the trail mix and sprinkle onion and chive seasoning. You can also add vegan Parmesan cheese, optional. -Toss well for 3-5 minutes or until the mixture is evenly coated. Spread the trail mix evenly over a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
-Transfer to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Toss 1 – 2 times throughout cooking. Enjoy!
