Dairy Free Cheesy Popcorn

This Dairy Free Cheesy Popcorn is a great “movie night” snack.  I used some tasty dairy free parmesan cheese and vegan butter to give it that great, cheesy flavor.  Delicious!

 


 

Dairy Free Cheesy Popcorn

Ingredients:
6 Tablespoons vegan butter
1/2 Teaspoon of onion powder
1 Teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1/2 Teaspoon of Himalayan salt
1/2 Teaspoon of smoked paprika
Black pepper, to taste
1/2 Cup of un-popped popcorn kernels
4 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
Directions:
-Add vegetable oil to a large pot with 4 tablespoons of popcorn or to microwave add 1/4 cup of popcorn kernels in a clean paper (You can use a 12 3/4 x 6 1/4 by 4 brown paper lunch bag). Fold over the top several times. Microwave on high until there is a 2-second pause between pops. It may take about 2 minutes to pop. Pour popped popcorn into a large pot then add melted vegan butter, vegan Parmesan cheese and spices. Mix well. Repeat the entire process one more time if necessary. Serve and enjoy!
