Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cups

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cups are made with three key ingredients – pretzels, nondairy chocolate and creamy peanut butter.  They are crunchy and delicious as well as quick and easy to make.  Your family will really enjoy this tasty dessert treat.

 


Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Cups

Ingredients for crust:
6 ounces of pretzel twists, crushed, use gluten free if possible
1/2 cup of coconut oil or as needed to hold crust together
Filling:
2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter
Topping:
1/3 Cup of nondairy chocolate chips, melted
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Directions:
-To make the crust, place the pretzels in a food processor and process until mostly fine. Add the melted coconut oil and pulse to combine.
-Use round silicone trays then add 2 to 3 tablespoons of pretzel crust mixture in each section and press to secure with the bottom of a glass or the flat side of a measuring cup.
-Place silicone trays in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
– Remove tray from freezer then add 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter. Freeze for 10 minutes.
-Melt nondairy chocolate in a double boiler with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, combine until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of chocolate to each silicone section. Freeze for 3 hours or until firm. Enjoy!
