Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bark

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bark is a delicious treat that’s really easy to make.  In addition to the gluten free pretzels and nondairy chocolate, I added some cubed pears, chopped walnuts and drizzled chocolate and peanut butter.  This is the ultimate blend of salty and sweet!   You can also prepare this as a Halloween treat for the kids.

 


 

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Bark

Ingredients:
1 pear, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup of walnuts, chopped
1 Tablespoon of coconut oil, or as needed
1 Teaspoon of flaked sea salt, (optional)
15 – 20 Gluten-free pretzels for topping
Drizzle with nondairy melted chocolate
Drizzle melted peanut butter, as desired
Directions:
-In a double boiler over medium heat add coconut oil and chocolate chips until melted, stirring until smooth for about 5 minutes.
-Line a 9 by 13 inch baking pan with parchment paper then pour the chocolate mixture.
-Use a spatula to spread it evenly into all the corners of the pan. Top with whole and chopped pretzels then freeze for 15 minutes.
-Remove tray from freezer then add diced pear and chopped walnuts. Drizzle with about 2 to 3 tablespoons of melted chocolate and peanut butter.
-Freeze for 1 hour then break into small pieces using a knife.
-Store in a airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. Enjoy!
