Chocolate Almond Bark

This Chocolate Almond Bark only needs two key ingredients:  nondairy chocolate and roasted almonds.  It’s crunchy, and quick and easy to make.

 


 

Chocolate Almond Bark

Ingredients:
1 12 oz. package of nondairy dark chocolate chips, or add more if desired. (Reserve 1/4 cup to drizzle chocolate)
1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil
1/2 cup almonds, roasted and chopped, (optional to roast almonds)
Directions:
-Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then set aside.
-Roast almonds for 5 to 7 minutes.
-Add the chocolate chips to a double boiler with with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Stir until melted and smooth.
-You can also add the chocolate chips to a microwave bowl for 1-2 minutes until melted.
-Pour the melted chocolate on a baking sheet then spread with a spatula until smooth.
-Add the chopped almonds on top of the melted chocolate. Then drizzle the remaining chocolate on top.
-Allow the bark to harden in the freezer until set. Crack apart bark into pieces once set, store in a airtight container and enjoy!
