This morning I made the most delicious Blueberry Smoothie Bowl. It was a refreshing and healthy breakfast on a hot summer day. By adding bananas, my smoothie bowl delivered potassium along with the antioxidants that the blueberries provided. It was quick and easy to make, and it tasted great!
I love to buy my baking ingredients from Whole Foods Market, Wegmans and Sprouts Farmers Market. They have an excellent assortment of the freshest fruits and vegetables. There’s a great food processor on my Shop Page that I used in making this delicious smoothie. Blueberry Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients:
3 to 4 frozen bananas, peeled and sliced
1 Cup of frozen blueberries
1 – 2 Tablespoons of chia seeds
2/3 Cup of coconut milk or a nondairy milk of your choice.
1/2 Teaspoon of vanilla extract
Directions:
-Mix all of the ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender.
-Blend the ingredients until a thick smoothie consistency forms. You can add more plant -based milk, if needed depending on the consistency. It would make the smoothie thinner. If you add less it would have a thicker consistency.
-Then add the smoothie to the bowls and top with your favorite fruit, granola or coconut flakes! Enjoy!
