Today I made these delicious Barbeque Cauliflower Wings. I coated the wings with Panko bread crumbs and then baked them with a tasty barbeque sauce. The sauce made the wings tangy and full of flavor. You can try these with your favorite dipping sauce.
Barbeque Cauliflower Wings
Ingredients:
1/2 a large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
1 – 2 Tablespoons of Olive oil or as needed
1/4 Teaspoon of onion powder
3 Tablespoons of
almond milk, or a plant based milk of your choice
1/2 Cup of barbecue sauce
1 Tablespoon of hot sauce, (optional)
Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions
Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 425F then line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets in olive oil , then in another bowl add onion powder and flour then add milk. Mix well then dip florets into mixture. In another bowl add panko bread crumbs then toss florets evenly. Add to the baking sheet in a single layer without crowding. Repeat process. Bake for 25 minutes. In a sauce pan, mix the barbecue sauce , hot sauce and vegan butter until warm and melted. Dip the cauliflower in the sauce. Then bake for 15 additional minutes. Serve and enjoy!
