Baked Tortilla Chips are a great snack that is also quick and easy to make. They are light and crunchy, and go well with salsa or vegan cream cheese.
Baked Tortilla Chips
Ingredients:
1 12oz. Package of corn tortillas
1 Teaspoon of lime zest
1 Teaspoon of Italian seasoning
1 Teaspoon of chipotle seasoning
1 Teaspoon of nutritional yeast
1 Teaspoon of Himalayan salt
Olive oil spray
Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
-Cut each tortilla into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the chipotle seasoning, Italian seasoning, nutritional yeast, lime zest and Himalayan salt to a small bowl.
-Then spray the top of each chip with a light coating of olive oil spray. (This will allow the spices to stick to the tortillas and will help brown the chips).
-Add the spice mixture to each chip. Then bake for about 7 minutes. Then rotate the pan and bake another 7 minutes or until the chips are browned and crispy. Remove from the oven and enjoy with guacamole or salsa.
